The journal

"EMIGRANTOLOGY OF THE SLAVS"

We would like to inform you about the publication of the electronic version of vol. 4 of the journal "Emigrantologia Słowian".

The decision to create the journal was made at the meeting of the Commision of Slavic Emigration of the International Committee of Slavists on 22 September 2014 in Opole.

 

The journal is a scientific body of Slavist-emigrantologists from different countries, a broad forum for exchanging their views and research experiences. It discusses  issues related to all forms of cultural and literary life of the Slavs in the emigration (centres, associations, schools, development of performing and film arts, painting and music,  achievements of writers, philosophers, historians, linguists, directors, actors, painters, singers and dancers, editorial and educational activities, functioning of the language and the language situation of Slavic expatriate communities).

 

„Emigrantology of the Slavs” is a peer-reviewed scientific yearbook issued in an electronic version in Opole in all Slavonic languages.

The journal

„Acta Polono-Ruthenica”

The quarterly „Acta Polono-Ruthenica” is a peer reviewed quarterly journal of the Institute of Eastern Slavonic Studies of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. It has been published continuously since 1996. Its initiator was prof. zw. dr hab. Ryszard Łużny.

 

Today the journal regularly publishes papers by eminent Slavonic studies specialists from leading Polish and foreign universities who present their research in Polish, Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian which contributes to the international circulation of knowledge.

 

The journal “Acta Polono-Ruthenica” publishes original research articles and reviews. Scope of the journal includes Polish-Eastern Slavonic cultural, literary and linguistic relationships, with a particular focus on the Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian literature.

 

Since 2019, the journal has introduced a permanent column “EMIGRANTOLOGICAL RESEARCH”.
